This is the first of a few posts about our trip to Texas this month. We had the pleasure of taking a drive down south to welcome home our sister-in-law, Shanon, home from Afghanistan, where Shanon has been serving for the past year. (Party pics to follow) While we were there, we took a trip to Canton, MY FAVORITE, and took care of some wedding details for Andrew and Shanon's wedding in June. (Yes, they are married, but never had a ceremony, so they are having one in June!)
Emily is going to be the flower girl! She had an absolute blast trying on her dress and spinning in front of the mirror. We had a hard time pulling her away from the mirror and we had to con her into taking her dress off! Rich is also in the wedding and got fitted for his tux too. After as many weddings as he has been in, in the last few years, we could have bought a few tuxes by now! :)

That weekend, we also had a couples date night while Nana watched Emily. We went out to Shogun with Andrew and Shanon, well, we were treated to a night out, and we also hit up the local Electric Cowboy for some two steppin and line dancing a threw back a few cold ones! It was a really great time and we were so happy that we were able to spend that time with A and S. Emily also got some quality alone time with Nana, so that was fun for them too!Andrew and Shanon

I mentioned that we hit up Canton....this is Emily chillaxin in her chair, in the wagon, with her new puppy purse and a foot rest....oh the life!
