I thought, on the eve of her birth, it would be fitting to show everyone where she will be coming home to. We have been working on her room for some time now, on and off. As many of you know, we have had quite the trouble trying to get this baby a crib...months now! It has finallly arrived, and I can say, I finally feel like we are ready. I don't feel like the pictures give it justice, maybe that's because I just appreciate the road it took to get it here, but here it is...drum roll please...
Since I am on a roll with this blog thing, why not throw in a few more pics of her room.. This is her chest of drawers (my mom made the diaper cake). Thsi is her changer.....and might I mention how fabulous the walls look....Rich did a good job. (thanks daddy)
This mum is apparently a HUGE thing in Texas. For homecoming, the high school kids give these to eachother to wear. It has really hit the baby scene. Rich's familiy in Texas had one made for Emily that we are going to hang outside her room at the hospital....she's going to be a star!
Hope you enjoyed this and there will be much more to come! As soon as we make it home from the hospital, we will be sure to post pics of our little angel. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers tonight and tomorrow!
YEAH!! I'm so happy to see this blog! Avery wants to be able to keep up with Emily. Her rooms is gorgeous and all it needs is Emily to be complete! I'm also glad to see that you are not at work today so you better be resting:) I'm very excited for you guys, enjoy every minute of tomorrow!!

Hello!!!! Okay so I have one of these things started, but mine is in progress, so no peeking!!! I have already seen the room, and pictures do not do it justice!!! It is so cute!!! Jenn, I said prayers for you and Emily this morning!!! I know all will go well!! You are a strong person, and your right, God will NOT give you more than you can handle!!!! I am so happy for you and Rich! Words can not express how awesome your life will now be, Parenthood is great!! You have been blessed!!! Rich called Uncle Bud and Aunt Jeanne in Cumberland, MD last night (June 4th), Emily Grace's birthday. We were so excited to know about our new great niece!! We can't wait to see pictures of the new little princess. We hope Mom (Jennifer) and Emily are doing super and will be home soon. Emily just has to love her room as we do.
