First Visitors and First Bath

Hey all! What a crazy and surreal last few days! I have to keep pinching myself just to make sure this is all real and I'm not dreaming! I'm really someone's MOMMY!! I am so thankful for this little miracle.

My mom and Uncle Harry arrived yesterday. They are so thrilled to have Emily here. (Proud Grandma and Great Uncle Harry)

We gave Emily her first sponge bath last night...she wasn't very happy during the whole ordeal, but afterward, we got her dressed in her ni-night, and it was all smiles.

We also bought her a swing yesterday. We hadn't planned on buying one at all, I just didn't see the point. (maybe it's because I get motion sickness and assumed she might do the same) It wasn't until Daddy calmed her time and time again by cradle rocking her, that I decided she loved the motion and it was a necessity!! (Always got to be moving like Daddy)

Proud Daddy!!! She already has him wrapped around her finger...I can just see the rest of my life......Daddy said I could! :)

We have some more friends arriving in a little from Wisconsin to see Emily. I will post more pics later. We also have a doctors appointment tomorrow to check her weight and color. I will fill you in on the results when we get home.

I can't say that I would give up any of the experiences that we have gone through so far, not even the late night bobbing of my head during feedings...it is all worth it, when at the end of the day, (or the beginning in this case) you can sit there and look into the eyes of the most beautiful creation on earth and just stare in amazment at the little miracles God gives us.....

How could anyone ever say that there isn't a God?
