For my birthday, I really wanted a bike. I have always wanted one, but never had one. Rich pulled through, and when he got home from work today, SURPRISE!!! I got a bike. I had picked out a pink and silver one that I liked, but when Rich went to get it, they didn't have anymore and he didn't want me to not get anything, so he bought me this one for today. We are going to exchange this one for the other, when they get more in! I am so excited! Now, I really want one of those baby trailers that you can pull behind your bike so Em can join in on the fun!

Who says I have to take a shower and look presentable on my birthday??? Just ignore how terrible I look in all these pics, PLEASE! (especially all the extra weight the steriod treatment put on me...how crappy)

Emily's first time on a bike! How cute!! Maybe just a little too big...

My family on my birthday. Family pics are hard to come by these days. Sorry my face is smashed in the camara!!

Rich and Rich Jr. ya, I can admit that my daughter looks like her daddy. You can't win um all!
Since I know the only reason people care to look at our blog is to see Emily and you could care less about my bike, I guess I had better throw in a few pics of the little monster from this past week. Here you go!

Emily-Looking very space cadet....enjoying her blanket that her Great Grandma in Texas made her...thanks Grandma Sheets!

Enjoying some more tummy time.

This is one of my favs. I just love to see her smile! She usually is more smiley early in the morning during our morning playtime. It really makes for a great day seeing her so happy! I just hope she doesn't end up with daddy's crooked smile...He doesn't have it all the time, it just pops up in pics from time to time.

I forgot to mention that daddy brought home my birthday dessert. Since my MS diagnosis, I'm not really supposed to have any kind of cake or sweets exept for angel food and fat free ice cream. (It goes with my new MS lifestyle change) Rich searched and found some fat free chocolate ice cream and angel food tarts to have with strawberries and fat free whipped cream. I am excited!! I am gonna go and get some now. Hope you have a great rest of the week!
Happy Birthday!! Hope you had a great day with the fam!!
ReplyDeleteYOU GOT IT!! Yay! Ok, so in the one picture where she is propped up on the boppy and looking at the camera(7th pic from the top), she does actually appear to have your eyes. I thought she looked similar to your baby pics for a sec. Love you. happy Birthday! And you look beautiful!
