Our little Longhorn! (who seems to be falling asleep)

This weekend we just took the opportunity to take it easy...finally! Recently, Rich has been the first to get Emily ready for the day, hence picking out the outfit for the day! He is pleased, when I approve and say he did a good job (I can see it on his face). Well, on Saturday, Rich dressed Emily in one of her Texas outifts...never again am I going to let her leave the house in a Texas outfit without a hair bow..."Oh what a cute little boy", "I can't belive you let him dress your son like that", etc...Can't they see the dress and the bows???? For goodness sake!!!! :) Anyway, Rich was proud of his little Texan and took this picture with her on the bed in his Texas room.

Emily is really alert and and tries to take in everything around her. She just loves her playmat and loves to stare at the animals and talk to them. You can see the amount of focus she has! She really loves that zebra!

This pic was taken on Sunday. Emily and I passed out after breakfast...we were late to church because of it. Emily was really cranky yesterday. Almost like she was teething...that kind of cranky. (obviously she is not)

Daddy and the Monster wearing her Daddy's girl onesie

I feel we have neglected our furry kids lately. This weekend they got a bath, which was WAY overdue. I thought I'd throw in a pic of them all soaken wet, but happy to be clean. (Secretly, bath day isn't Lucky's favorite day at all)
