Walk a'bout

Ya, ya, so it took me forever to finally make another post...we have been really busy lately, going out of town and working, and just plain enjoying some of the nice weather we have been waiting so long for.
I have a lot to catch up on so, try to keep up!! :)
Emily and Daddy love bath time together. Here are some kinda recent pics of them doing what they do best...acting goofy! Rich says that every baby has to have a Mohawk.
Emily sportin' hers!

...she hangs with a rough crowd...

The bank in Wal-Mart was handing out free balloons one day. Emily had never seen a balloon before, or at least that she could remember. The bank teller tied two to her wrist. Emily had a ball with them! She would flap her arm and just laugh when they flew all over the place. It was hysterical to watch!...what have I said in the past...ya all that money on toys, and they want the box....or the balloon....

We get home before Rich everyday, so we have mommy and em time, where we play and sing and read...It is a great time for me to take pics of Emily being Emily. Here, you get to see her in action.

My favorite!!!! (I can't decide which one I want to play with, so I will play with them all)

That day, I discovered that Emily can walk if you hold her hands. She just walked around like she had been doing it forever..well, kinda. I had to wait till Rich got home so that I could take some pics of her in action and so that he could experience it with us. I have a video posted below from that day...since this was weeks ago, she has mastered it even more by now. Sorry for the delay in posting...I will post more video when I get a chance.

Emily also has a walker toy that we bought her for Christmas. Until now, she has mainly played with the toys on the walker and not really acknowledged it's main purpose. She figured it out by herself on the same day...we captured some of it on video too.

Now, she will just crawl up to it and walk with it by herself. She gets really frustrated when she runs into things, like the couch. She stands there and rams it over and over. Girl on a mission.
