Emily's first birthday party was a blast! I am so pleased with all of our friends and family that were able to make it here for the big day! Emily truly enjoyed herself. She loves being the center of attention...gee, I wonder where she gets that?? Anyhoo, thank you everyone for all the nice gifts and beautiful cards!
I made Emily a shirt, tutu and hair bow to wear to her birthday party. This is Emily making her grand entrance...
One of the presents that Emily got for her birthday, was this brown leather chair. It was sitting in the living room when she came out and that is one of the first places that she went.(Thank you Grandad and Nana)
Emily loves this chair and there hasn't been a day that has gone by that she hasn't played in it!

After everyone stuffed themselves with Chicken, beans, potato salad, queso, chips, olive dip, sweet cream corn, fruit salad, veggies, hummus, and the list goes on and on.....it was time for Emily to open some presents.Her first gift. Landin and Lexie gave her this and Landin was showing her how to use it.
My friend Justin, from work, came over and brought his son Noah. Noah was a big help, by bringing Emily presents to open, helping her, and cheering her on!
Emily did really good opening presents and caught on well. She did get a bit side-tracked at times with the paper and the boxes.
