Casino Night

Last weekend Rich's work held a Casino Night for the employees of his division. It was a dressy event and a chance for us to get a night out!! What a great combo! We left Emily with my friend Kimberly again. We took some pics before we headed out.

I look a bit weird in this pic...I think I was waaaay excited about a night out!

The event was held outdoors at the Fayetteville Athletic Center by the pool. When we got there, they handed us each a ticket worth $1,000 to play with. They had all kinds of tables set up, but I headed straight for the blackjack table. I was tearing the table up! Rich was doing pretty well too, but momma was bringing home the bacon!!!! After a few hours, Rich lost all of his money. We were getting really hungry, so I bet everything I had left on one hand, $850.00.(I had started to play really stupid, by betting like $200.00 per bet and had lost a lot by this point). Needless to say, I lost it all...it was just play money, though. We went to the buffet and ate.

(by the way, the money was to be used towards an auction for prizes, laptops, Wii, etc..)

It was a blast and a much needed break!

Thanks again Kimberly for keeping Emily for us!
