Emily's First Concert

Today we went to a concert sponsored by Tyson. Tyson is celebrating 50 years at the Randall Road Plant here in Springdale. In lieu of this, they held a concert at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale. Arvest ballpark is our minor league team here in NW Arkansas (The Naturals) affiliated with the Kansas City Royals. Guess who performed? The great Willie Nelson!!! That's right folks, the legend himself was here! We took Emily and we had a great time. Now, when she's older we can tell her that she saw Willie in concert. (Bragging rights!!! hahaha)

When Willie started singing, Emily passed out for about an hour.....even through all the loud music, cheering, clapping and screaming. Maybe we should put her to sleep at night to Willie??....A few more pics of Willie jammin

After her nap, Emily woke up ready to party. She was dancing and laughing and "singing".Daddy was trying to teach her how to clap along with the music.

It was a great time, and I'm glad we got to go. Better yet, Em did so good...we'll have to look further into this baby at concert thing. Not a bad idea!!! :)
