Am I sick or am I teething? I also want to crawl...

This week Emily has continued to have a stuffy nose. Finally, it sounds like it is starting to clear up. We have been eating more rice cereal, and yesterday, Emily ate the whole bowl for the first time. I made it extra thick yesterday, and surprisingly, she seemed to like it better that way! Baby steps to figuring out what she likes.. Anyway, today I got a call at work that Emily was running a fever at school. It was low grade. She also threw up her formula and had a bit of diarrhea. They weren't sure if she was teething or not or just had a bug. I went ahead and picked her up early and stopped at the store to get some orajel. She really seemed to feel better after that and managed to get a little sleep. I am still confused at what is actually going on, but for now, she seems better. Rich thought he felt some buds in her mouth, so maybe we are teething...I will keep you posted on that. When we got home Emily seemed fine to just play for a bit. She didn't seem to be bothered at all.
Emily is going through a lot this week. She has started getting up on her knees. It is so hard to grab a pic of that, so you'll have to work with what I can get. This is her today throwing her knees and butt up.
She hasn't figured out the arm part...maybe she will just scoot around on her face! :)
Anyhoo, that is all I have for now. I plan on putting my fall decorations out this week, maybe I'll start tonight??? I have begun the countdown for our vacation...so, since you read this, you'll have to count down with me each post...today we have 15 days left!!! We are so excited! Happy Monday!

  1. Yes, I would say she is teething. Payton ran a low grade fever, had diarreah, and chewed constantly on her fingers and hands, I always thought she was just hungry all the time, I bet she's teething.

    We love ya

  2. Avery has been doing all of those symptoms for over two months now...I wish the tooth would just get it over with and come out!! Her drool is constantly soaking everything. Everyone agrees that it is teething, but I have been warned that teething can take a while before a tooth ever pops out!! Glad to see that ya'll are doing well...Emily is a cutie and I can't get over how long her legs are!! Call me when you have time:)

  3. Madie started teething when she was a little over 3 months old and she didn't actually cut the tooth until she was 81/2 months old. I know people got so sick of seeing her in really cute outfits, with a soaked bib attached....she drooled like crazy forever!! Hope she gets to feeling better soon!!
