A quick look at this past week

What an uneventful week! Not a lot happened around the Starkey house this past week..unless you count me being sick all week long! The beginning of the week brought me a severe stomach bug of sorts. It was horrible! I was home from work half a day Monday and a full day Tuesday. We were worried that Emily might get it. Thankfully, she didn't show signs of having anything and neither did Rich. The latter part of the week brought me more sickness with the ever dreaded MS injection...yippee! So, all in all, it was crappy on my end!

We thought it was time for Emily to experience all of her Grandma Small's hard work, so we broke out a new blanket this weekend! And boy did she love it! She enjoys all of the different characters and colors on the blanket. She really enjoys tummy time on it too! Thank you Grandma Small!

This weekend was Emily's first Razorback experience. We had a chance to tailgate with some friends down by the stadium on game day. Emily got to wear her "smallest fan" onesie! I should have taken a pic of me and her that day. We looked like twins in our red shirts and jeans. Daddy even showed some spirit by wearing Razorback red...well, gray with Arkansas on it...at least he wasn't wearing Texas!!!!
It was really sunny after church on Sunday. Emily was looking super cool in her shades. What a stylin' baby!
Emily did end up with a cold this weekend. I don't think it is linked to my episode last week, but who knows. It is her first official cold. She just has a stuffy nose. I hope that's all it turns out to be in the end. She sounds a lot like a piggy when she breaths. As cute as it is, you can't help but feel sorry for the poor baby! I'll keep you posted!
