Instead of going to Ash Flat this weekend, we opted to stay around here and have some family time....and family time this weekend included who else, but Santa!! Emily sat in his lap with no problem....at first! :) This pic is the first and only pic we were able to get of her and Santa. She looks so serious, which is not at all Emily's true personality. But, she was a good girl, looked our direction so we could snap a pic, then proceeded to check Santa out by looking first at him and then back at us several times before bursting into tears. It was so sad! Santa keep warning her not to turn around. He sad the more the boys and girls look at him, the worse it gets! It took Emily three looks and she had had enough!! Let's hope next year gets better!

I almost forgot. Today Emily moved into a new class at school. She moved into the crawler/walker baby class. Although Emily is not quite mobile yet, they believed that she was more than ready to move up! We are so excited! Today, she got a new bed, and new "neighbors" at school. They think Emily will be crawling very soon. My only concern is that we will very soon be dealing with pushing, hitting, biting..etc. Poor Emily can't quite crawl to get away yet!! :) It is to be expected, though. I'll keep you updated on everything.
I think the picture of her and Santa is pretty sweet! Madie is still not quite sure of him at 2 years old. We have seen him several times this year, but she still gets squimish around him after a few seconds. Hope yall have a Merry Christmas!!
