Okay, okay, so I have been super busy lately, and i am sorry to say, that the blog has been the last thing on my mind lately! Sorry! But, I am free for a few hours this morning, and what better way to spend this time, than updating everyone on the Arkansas Starkey's life this past month and to let everyone know we are still here, just with a few extra gray hairs!!
I feel like I have so much to say, too much in fact. I have a few posts to update you on , so maybe I will get it all out!
A pic of Emily and me lounging on the bed in our room...I love this pic!!!
Emily got a new bath tub, finally! It wasn't a Christmas gift, just a well needed addition.
She was in need of a new tub for a while, one that she could sit up in, but I had the hardest time finding one..I finally settled on this one for now, so the poor baby could bathe and actually enjoy herself.. be a kid! This is a pic of her trying out her new tub...yes, in the living room..it was a good start. That particular day, Emily was having a lot of teething pain. She is desperately working on more teeth, if those darn boogers would just come out! She is holding what I like to call her teething popsicle. They have them everywhere, and all you do is add cold or frozen food or whatever you want I guess to the mesh holder, lock it and let her go at it. She loves when I put frozen apples in it. It is such a yummy treat and it feels good too!
This is Em trying out her ducky in what will be her next big step...her big bath tub. Until then, ducky fits just right and she LOVES him. His beak also quacks, so when she hears that, she knows it's bath time...(Pavlov's dogs).
She now has 5 bath time friends..3 ducks, a frog and a caterpillar....She wants every one of them in there with her so she can splash and dunk them and watch them come back up. How did she ever survive bath time before ducky???
Well, Emily's Grandma Small talked with Santa and found out that Emily wanted some more Baby Einstein DVDs this year and lo and behold, she got some! (Here's some pics, Susan, so you can see Emily enjoying her Christmas that you sent!)
Wow, Grandma, this card tastes so good....
Yay! Opening presents. Emily mastered this this year and was a pro by the end of Christmas time. We just had to make sure she didn't eat it after tearing it off.
Did I mention that she is teething...enough said!
phew! What a long day!
(puppy and I will watch it together)
Thanks for all my Christmas presents!
