Emily has started standing all the time now. It has been going on since around Christmas time, but I finally got around to posting some pics of her in action. She loves to stand! An added bonus, she loves to dance. I tried to capture her in motion dancing (in a video below) but, she was almost over it by the time I got the camera going. At least you can see her movin' a little.
So, here is the video of Emily partially dancing. I apologize ahead of time....it is cocked a bit. I wanted to capture her whole body length, so I turned the camera....obviously, you can turn the camera to watch it upright...but here, you must stand on the wall to see it correctly, sorry!!!
Emily started clapping today, officially. We haven't really been working on it very hard, just in the last few days. She picked it up really fast, and is clapping all the time. She will clap when we clap and she also will clap on her own and she wants you to clap with her. I started saying "yay" when I clap, so she would know it meant something exciting. Now when she claps, she makes a noise that is higher pitched too! It is really cute! :)
