So, since I last wrote on here, I was diagnosed with another Auto Immune issue...Hypothyroidism! Ya, add that to the list of crap that I have had/have. I take a daily pill to control the function of my thyroid. They aren't sure what caused this, but it was either my medicine for my MS, my MS in general or it was hereditary...since I know zero people in my family that have this, I guess you can use your best guess! I don't know. Along with that, I also have developed these lumps on my fingers and toes. Some assumptions think that they are linked to the Thyroid issue, but they have been multiplying and growing recently, so I have contacted my doctor for further advise. You know how it is waiting on a Drs office to return your call..... My right index finger looks like a sausage because the lumps in that finger are so huge! My right ring finger looks similar but it also has one that is spreading into my palm....I am a freak show!! Who knows....on the plus side, as far as I know, my MS has been in control recently and I am feeling pretty good, comparitively. (I have a fantastic husband who puts up with all of this and takes care of me!)
Emily has had a cold or similar for a few weeks, so I finally took her in because I need her to be well for our vacation. It developed into a sinus infection, of sorts. She is on antibiotics and eye drops to clear it up. She seems to be doing well with that. A bit of a yeast thing appeared again on her hinney and we are clearing that up with special cream. This seems to happen a lot with her when she is sick.
They weighed her while we were there, and she is 25.8 lbs. She is growing so fast and it getting so heavy!!! She is literally a work out to carry these days! She is in the middle of teething all of her canines, which is probably the reason for the cold symptoms in the beginning. So far two of them have poked through, with the other's close behind. She now has 14 teeth?? I think that's right. Nearly a whole mouth full! She is so smart and amazes me everyday. She repeats nearly everything you say these days. She's like a voice recorder! The other day we were driving, and for some reason I shouted CRAP! and soon after, I heard crap, crap, crap...coming from the back seat. There are worse things for her to repeat/say, but nonetheless, I tried to ignore it so she would stop. I couldn't help but laugh, though. She is such a sponge! Her favorite movie right now is 101 Dalmatians because of all the "pa pays". It is so funny to see her run. She gets on it and goes and she's gone! She has started saying No a lot. She says it in response to things or at things that she knows she is not supposed to touch, like the toilet cleaner brush. That one always get a No NO!! :) What doesn't she do? She helps with laundry (loads and unloads), dishes by handing you items to put away out of the dishwasher, cleans the floor and everything else with antibacterial cloths.......brushes her hair and teeth, sometimes allows a pony tail or pig tails now for a little bit, always always dances and has started singing, can name any animal now at sight and their sound...my favorite is an elephant! Signs like crazy to us. (sign language)...she is just amazing! I could go on and on and on.....I have more posts to work on, so I had better stop...
