Cozumel

(In reverse order)
Me and my hubby on the beach in Cozumel. How fantastic!
A view from the lighthouse. (not all the way up)

It cleared up after a few hours, and we were able to dry out a bit. And take a few dry pictures.

There he is!

This is a lagoon with crocodiles in it.

Our Jeep after we stopped to snorkel. For some insane reason, I have zero pics of us snorkeling. That sucks! But we had a blast. Snorkeling in Cozumel was so much better than in Hawaii! But I think the fish and reefs were more colorful in Hawaii....anyway, we saw a sting ray, a turtle and all kinds of stuff. I got to hold a starfish. It was huge!!

The lighthouse on the coast

A view of the beach on our hazy drive. Rich had a ball sliding around curves and off-roading. He was splashing through puddles like a maniac. He kinda made me a nervous wreck, but he was having a good time, so I kept my mouth shut for the most part.

Just as soon as we got off the boat and into town, it came a torrential down pour!!! I mean down pour! We tried to wait it out and it started to clear. We were set to go on our Jeep, snorkel, lighthouse, small ruins, crocodile adventure. It cleared, and we headed for the Jeep. Wouldn't you know that it started pouring again, and by the time that we waded through the flooded streets, we were soaked completely!! We hopped into our Jeep for some heat! yes, heat in Mexico! Here's a pic of us in the Jeep with some of our friends that we met on the boat who were celebrating Jamie becoming a doctor! You can see the water dripping off my chin.

The first sight of land!!! Cozumel on the horizon! As you can see, it had been raining that night, but we were hopeful for a nice sunny day....ya right!
