USS Alabama-Before getting on the Carnival

Sorry, but for some reason, the blogger isn't allowing me to put the pictures in order, so you will have to work backwards! :)
I have visited the USS Alabama battleship before, and in fact, this was my 3rd visit. (thanks to my mom who took me everywhere!) Anyway, I thought Rich would really enjoy seeing the battleship and climbing through it due to his military background. The shear size of this thing is amazing! I also liked to pretend where I would have worked, if I were on the battleship. I think I would have been down below in the Dr's office or lab. I think Rich decided that he would like to have been inside the big guns blowing things up!
They also have a big warehouse full of F-15s and bombers and other planes that were right up Rich's alley, since he used to work on F-15s and all! My least favorite would have to have been the submarine, since I slammed my shoulder in the the side of it while trying to crawl through those tiny doors and had a bruise the rest of the trip!! No, other than that, it was pretty cool! I am sure we will make it there many more times on the way to Florida as our kids get bigger!

Rich and I (we were so excited to get on the cruise ship, but we really enjoyed the battleship too!
Rich couldn't get enough!

Watch out!

We spotted our ship on the way to the battleship! They were very close to each other. In fact, we could see our boat from the deck of the Alabama!

Cruise to follow!
