Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, we were all playing in Emily's room, passin time until our BBQ, when Emily decided it would be a good idea to get her foot stuck in the rungs of her rocking horse..

The look on her face is priceless..

Daddy came to the rescue with his drill and got her out in no time!We finally got Emily's swimming pool blown up and filled and Emily and I got in for a dip...it was way to cold to be swimming. We got out pretty quick!

We, oh I am sorry, Santa, got her this Razorback chair for Christmas last year and she finally is getting to use it. She looks so cute just lounging.

A few of our neighbors and some family came over for Memorial Day for a cook-out. Rich smoked some meat and we had a great time. My cousin Mike came with his wife Michelle and son. This is my little cousin Spencer playing with Emily. (I made him smile..he didn't really want to!! hahaha) at least he gave me a half smile!

It started to rain, so we were trapped in the garage. Spencer pulled Emily around in her wagon in the garage. She thought that was fun!


We had a great time and we can't wait to do it again really soon!

I have one more picture..Today we finally turned Emily's big girl seat around to face forward. She was really quiet at first, not really sure how to take what was going on, but she seemed to really like watching things from her new view. I had to get a pic to commemorate the occasion!
