A quick look

So, our adventure that I spoke about in my last post didn't really happen...we were planning on getting in Emily's pool for the first time, but, the pool is really big, well, big as far as me blowing up and we threw away our hose so how was I supposed to fill it...?? I don't know what I was thinking!! Anyway, here's a few pics that I took recently.

Peek-a-boo!

I was watering the flowers and plants that we have outside. We have a fern that is hanging by our front door, (which by the way, a bird has decided to make a nest in...) ......ya, freaked me out! Anyway, I was watering the fern, and the water was draining out of the drain holes in the bottom of the pot. Emily got curious and decided to walk under the "shower" of cold water...man, if I could have filmed this it would be a hit! You should have seen the face she made. She was shell shocked, froze for a bit and then when she recovered that little booger ran!!! This is how we ended up in the lawn later, baking int he sun, drying off. She loves the outdoors.

Every night, Rich puts Emily to bed. He gets her sippy ready, which I should mention, is with milk now, not formula, YAY!!!! and puts her in his lap and snuggles while she drinks. Sometimes out of pure exhaustion, she falls asleep on him and other times when she's done, he brings her to me for a good night kiss and hug and then takes her off to her room to tuck her in. Everyone once in a while, I catch this...Rich and Emily falling asleep together...I think there is nothing sweeter than a daddy and his baby girl....

There are now 4 girls pregnant at my work....two with girls, two unknown yet. Rich's sister Amanda is prego with baby #2, a girl (my new niece!!), and my cousin Kim is prego with a baby, sex unknown yet. I am fighting the baby fever......can I resist????
