Tiny update

Life around our house lately has been great! We are still knee deep in potty training. Emily is still doing well with that. I don't know how fast they usually catch on, especially when you start them at 12 months old, but I think she is doing well. She is in the middle of teething her first molar, lower left side...she has been really whinny lately, and cranky....we feel so bad, but not much we can do for her. She is also getting another tooth on her lower right side as well. Her fingers have been in her mouth a lot lately! Emily has picked up a lot of new words. She repeats what you say now. If you say awww, she copies, etc. She said Love you the other day, and is learning in leaps and bounds. She got a semi new teacher, who now calls her the little scholar. My friend April got Emily some forks for her birthday, and she is really picking that up too. Thanks Peep! Emily had a bit of a stomach bug last week, and threw up twice, but that seems to have passed. Today, I caught her in her bed and she had taken her diaper off, and had pooped and peed in her bed...disgusting!!! I guess she needed to go potty, but was stuck in bed. Oh well! That's my second job in life! Poop scrubber! We have a lot of trips coming up the next few months...we are really looking forward to that. Clean out your guest bedrooms, because here we come!! Emily's new favorite food is fresh dark cherries. Yummy! Today we swam in the pool outside and she is really becoming a water baby. She was laying back in the water and taking more chances today than normal. My birthday is in.....4 days and I am dreading the big ole' number 27. That is how old Rich was when we met, and I remember thinking that was a big number....I know, wait till I hit 30, 40, etc, but for me, I can't seem to put my finger on where the time is going. How am I 27 already? I have to admit that the reason I haven't been blogging, was because I was way to wrapped up in reading the Twilight Series. I feel in love with the movie and just had to read the books. I am not a reader, by any means, but these books had me hooked! They were very well written, and I felt the emotions in them...I am sad they are over...I feel that the story must go on...there has to be more.... I am anxiously awaiting the second move, New Moon, which comes out Nov 20th...I already reserved a babysitter for that night!!! :) Anyway, so there is my excuse!So, sue me...at least I was being intellectual! :)
