Our big girl!!

Today Emily is 11 weeks old! Again I say "CRAZY"!!! I don't know how the time flies so fast!

This weekend, we finally broke out Emily's Bumbo chair. For those of you not familiar with this chair, it helps promotes sitting and strenghtening of the baby's neck/back/etc. We figured she would do well since she has been able to support her head for some time now! Yep, we were right...she did great! She even seemed to enjoy it at first, well, maybe she was just content, as the picture below clearly appears. She looks kinda confused as if she's wondering what the heck are we putting her through now?

That feeling of content was short lived, and she had had enough of the Bumbo!
This week, Emily has done better with the Bumbo and is well on her way to enjoying it..good news! no more sad monster!

We have been having a lot of tummy time lately to get her ready for rolling over. She is starting to really enjoy tummy time these days, especially since she got her tummy time toy.

So, this picture is the beginnings of rolling/crawling. She gets that left leg up underneath her, but not the right one.?? It is only a matter of time!

Starting to get sleepy!

So, we went down for nap time. she only takes a pacifier at bedtime, and am trying to have her use it at nap time now, so that it will make it easier for her to sleep at school. It will be more of a comfort thing. Today, she was all about it! I thought she looked cute holding it with both hands!

So, I really didn't have much to say, just a few pics, so excuse the rambling. I knew people were wanting some more pics to look at, so I thought I'd post what I had. Like I said in an earlier post, we're off to Kansas City this weekend. Emily gets to meet Uncle Jeff. I don't know about her, but I am excited about that. It will be neat to see my brother with a baby!! :)
